An Aussie wine company is gaining a large following of fans thanks to its zero and low sugar tipples - and every bottle helps to provide clean drinking water to communities in need.

Little Ripples has racked up thousands of five star reviews from happy customers who not only 'love' the taste and the lower calorie content of the wine, but who are also pleased to support the social enterprise.

The company pledges that for every bottle of wine sold it enables them to provide a year of clean drinking water for one person in a developing community, with projects currently in India and across Africa.

Little Ripples was founded by social entrepreneur Dustin Leonard and to date the wine brand has helped with the construction of 50 water wells to provide safe and accessible water to communities, in partnership with the BridgIT Water Foundation.

This impact is the equivalent of providing over 500,000 people with one year of clean drinking water and the company has a goal to provide five million people with clean water within the next 10 years.

The brand's wine comes from Australia's best regions including Barrosa, Adelaide Hills, and Coonawarra and Paul Henry, one of Australia’s leading wine experts, worked with the winemakers to create the wines the brand offers.

Little Ripples has been attracting wine fans all over the world thanks to the 0g of sugar per serving wine options which include the Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio, Rosé, Chardonnay, Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Pinot Noir

The brand's Sparkling, Prosecco and low alcohol range are low sugar wines and customers can purchase cases of their favourite varieties, mixed cases or they can build their own box based on personal preferences too.

Fans of the brand can also join a wine club to enjoy discounts, regular deliveries and free shipping over $120.

The Sauvignon Blanc varietal is the most popular wine on the site with over 300, five star reviews from happy customers with many calling the tipple 'delicious'. With a case of six bottles retailing at $129, a bottle works out at $21.50.

One fan wrote: 'Love Love the Sav blanc crisp and smooth! Can’t drink anything else now.'

Another shared: 'Little Ripples Sauvignon Blanc tastes fabulous! Just the right balance of sweet crisp flavours! I love being able to select a wine that’s not only great for me, with no sugar, but contributes to water security for people in developing countries!.'

A third posted: 'It's light and delicious. I have recommended this wine to all my friends and family.'

Whilst Little Ripples is enjoying a cult following in Australia and is a preferred supplier for Accor Hotels, the brand has also branched out internationally. The wine is served on Lufthansa and Discover airlines and can be found in retailers across Singapore, Hong Kong, and the UAE too.

With a 100 per cent money back guarantee, customers can try the wine and receive a full refund if they don't like it.
